Install file manager

For install File Manager unzip FileManager.zip into wwwroot "/fileManager".

Edit /fileManager/metadata/Config.cfc file and map your file manager default base path directory.

If you want set your personal setting, create an object to fileManager.medatada.Config and set istance into session.config variables.

ColdSpring framework install is required.

Call http://yourhost/filemanager/index.cfm

So is there a way to add the necessary ColdSpring files if I do not have the ability to install the ColdSpring framework on my server?

Brian,
FileManager uses this.mappings into Application.cfc
For install coldspring, add coldspring folder into /fileManager/lib and add this.mappings['/fileManager'] = "filemanager absolute path" if you have shared hosting or have install filemanager outside root.

I'm getting an error, which is preventing the application from opening at all:

Bean creation exception during init() of fileManager.core.FileManager
Could not find the ColdFusion Component or Interface plugin.filemanager.Plugin.

I would like to use the filemanager to manage the D:\ drive on my Windows 2003 Server. My web root is at C:\apache\htdocs. I currently have the filemanager folder in the web root but I can't determine how to get the "root" in the app to be my D:\ drive.

What settings and/or mappings are needed to make this happen?

Great tool.
Some assistance on customisation would be fantastic like:
1. how do you set the root directory for the filemanager?
2. Is there any ability to remove some of the options (for instance read only access of the server)
3. Can you export a selected file outside the app for use by another part of the website?
Any guidance appreciated.
